SAM BROADCASTER SCRIPTS

Live Show Intro

When playing your music from within SAM, the song's NAME, ARTIST, and other information is sent out and appears in the media player program allowing the listener to see what song is playing along with the other information.

If you change to a LIVE show using tapes, CD's, and your microphone, the listener's media player will show the information from the LAST audio file played directly from SAM.  This is confusing to the listeners when they hear one song and their player is saying it is a different song.

To help clear the confusion, it is highly recommended that you create a short INTRODUCTION audio file that you will use for your LIVE show every time.

First - create your intro audio using Adobe Audition, Cool Edit Pro, or your favorite audio software -

After you have created the Intro Audio ...
  1. Right Click on your MP3 file
  2. Select PROPERTIES

Click on SUMMARY

Select ADVANCED>>

  1. Fill in your ARTIST NAME
  2. Enter your SHOW TITLE
  3. Click OK
Save it - and place it into SAM - a handy spot could be in the Sound FX, Jingles, or Station IDs

When you are ready to broadcast your live show, be sure to play your Introduction mp3 BEFORE you click on your MICROPHONE in the VOICE FX.

Your listeners will then see YOUR name and your SHOW NAME on their player during the live show.
